Barr-Nunn Veterans Alliance Program

At Barr-Nunn, we know it can be challenging to find employment after serving your country. That's why we developed the Veterans Alliance Program to provide opportunities to prior military and reserve personnel, who may not have the required amount of commercial over the road experience we typically require, but share the basic core values of patriotism, discipline, respect, work ethic, and safety.

Barr-Nunn's founder was a Marine, and there are many veterans and reserves working as truck drivers, mechanics, office staff, and management for Barr-Nunn. This program will give those veterans and reserves who have at least 18 months of military tractor-trailer experience and 6 months of recent commercial tractor-trailer over the road experience, full credit up to our 14 months of experience pay level.

Qualified veterans and reserves will attend orientation under our driver refresher program (if available). The driver refresher program consists of our regular orientation (learn more), plus 3-5 days with a trainer. Any applicable Transition Pay is not paid until completion of the training period.
